COVID-19

COVID-19

Dear Pinnacle Veterinary Center Pet Parents,

The staff here at Pinnacle Veterinary Center would like to thank you for continuing to entrust us with your pets’ healthcare. As the current COVID-19 pandemic evolves we are committed to adapting our service model to minimize the risk to our collective public health, while still ensuring proper health care services for our patients.
In order to accomplish these dual goals, the following measures are effective immediately and will be in place indefinitely:

  1. All appointments will now be drop-off appointments which will be divided into the following steps:

Step 1: Once you have called and scheduled an appointment, please arrive in the parking lot and remain in your vehicle.
Step 2: Please call us from your vehicle and we will dispatch a staff member to check you in and receive your pet for the drop-off examination. At this point, we encourage you to go home and wait for the staff/doctor to call you.
Step 3: The staff/doctor will call you to go over medical history, answer questions, go over test results, discuss treatment options and recommendations. Once a course of treatment has been agreed upon, we will perform the services and advise you of a pick-up time.
Step 4: Once you arrive for pick-up please park and remain in your vehicle. Call us from your vehicle to inform us of your arrival. A staff member will then get you checked out and will bring your pet to you, along with any medications/products that have been prescribed.

  1. Any other services which require you to physically come to our office will be conducted similarly to our exams above, beginning with a call from our parking lot to notify us of your arrival.
  2.  If you or any of your household members are showing any signs of illness we kindly ask for you to reschedule all non-essential appointments until the current crisis has passed.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult and uncertain time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience or hardship that the above a measure may cause you.

Sincerely,
Pinnacle Veterinary Center Management

Update (March 13th, 2020)

Here at Pinnacle we are taking the COVID-19 Virus (Coronavirus) very seriously. The safety of you and your pet is our biggest priority. Our hearts go out to all those who’ve been impacted. Be assured we will do everything we can to continue to provide affordable quality medical care to your fur children safely and will continue to closely follow the guidance of the CDC and local health officials.

Our clinic has advanced our cleaning and disinfecting procedures to maintain a healthy environment for you, your family, and your fur baby. We have always provided hand sanitizer all throughout the clinic for both our clients and staff members. We wanted to assure you that all computer screens, phones, and treatment tables are disinfected after every patient.

We have implemented adjustments, heightened our protocols and increased the frequency of deep cleaning/disinfecting all public areas and back offices as an added precaution. For the time being, we are removing our coffee station, snack jar, as well as all reusable reading material at this time. Water cups, business cards, pens and other standard office supplies are available upon request. We ask all employees to wash their hands upon arrival and have placed proper hand washing guidelines throughout the clinic to educate pet parents with the proper method.

To date, the CDC has not received any reports of pets or other animals becoming sick with COVID-19. At this time, there is no evidence that companion pets can spread COVID-19. The situation is progressing and we are monitoring it closely, as of right now we remain open for business and are committed to the health and safety of our furry friends.

We know there is a lot of information out there; for the most current information on COVID-19, including government health guidelines, visit:
